A fried favorite from the Braman family kitchen, these lobster fritters are so simple, so delicious, so perfect!
Pairs well with our Sparkles sparkling white wine
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Ketchup, bottled
- 2 Lemons, juiced
- 1 Tbsp Cumin powder
- 2 Tbsp Garlic powder
- ½ Cup Water
- 12 4-6oz Lobster Tails, shelled
- Peanut Oil for Frying
- 5 Cups A.P. Flour
- Salt and Pepper to season flour
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, whisk first five ingredients till well incorporated.
- Submerge Lobster meat in liquid mixture, cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 24 hours folding ingredients every 4-6 hours to ensure meat is well coated.
- Place Flour, Salt and Pepper in large bowl and toss.
- Remove Lobster from refrigerator. Gently toss Lobster meat into seasoned flour, place breaded pieces on a sheet pan till complete.
- Place back into refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Heat Peanut Oil to 365 degrees.
- Remove sheet pan of breaded Lobster meat from refrigerator. Gently add meat to fryer for 2-4 minutes, remove- place on paper towels and without delay sprinkle with salt.
Serve immediately and serve with SPARKLES!!!!
