Perfect for the holidays! Stuffing is an essential item to the traditional holiday meal. Try our recipe to compliment to your table. Don't forget to pair your meal with one of our wines. We recommend the Braman Wine X10 or Z10.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 jalapeno minced
- ¾ c. diced yellow onion
- 1/2 c. red diced bell pepper
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 tsp. dry thyme
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 2 T. poultry seasoning
- 2 1/2 c. corn bread freshly baked "crumbled"
- 1/2 -3/4 cup chicken stock
- ½ c. dried cranberries (optional)
PREPARATION:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease an 11x7x2 glass baking dish.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add jalapeno, onion, bell pepper and celery and saute veggies to desired tenderness.
- Mix together all dry ingredients. Stir in chicken stock and sautéed veggies. Transfer stuffing to prepared baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake a further 10 minutes or until top is crispy and golden.
